A Puli is an affectionate dog that loves to be around his humans. When trained and socialized well, this dog can be a good playmate for and companion of children. But no matter how gentle and good Pulik are with kids, supervising their interactions is still best. Controlled playtime sessions can ensure that everyone’s safe and no fights will ensue. Teaching kids how to behave properly around dogs is also essential. They should understand that there are times they shouldn’t go near a dog.
A Puli makes good friends with other dogs and household pets when brought up with them or when he’s properly socialized. Early exposure to various experiences, people, sights, and sounds can positively contribute to the social skills of a Puli.
