The Donskoy Cat

Also known as the Don Sphynx, the Donskoy cat is an eye-catching breed because of being hairless. The cat’s distinctive look makes them a popular domestic breed. The Donskoy was developed in the 1980s in Russia as a new breed.

Cat registries recognized this lineage in 1987. These felines are affectionate, playful, and friendly. Thus, they have been considered one of the mellowest breeds existing to this day.

The Donskoys are social and can get along well with their humans and other household pets. They can be as gentle as needed so long as their needs are respected and addressed.

Meanwhile, the Donskoys are hairless as mentioned above. However, note that some of the breed’s kittens are born with hair, but it just loses over time. If you plan of adopting a Donskoy, you must learn more about her grooming needs because of her hairless nature. Visit their site to know more.
