Reasons Not to Own Multiple Cats

Owning multiple cats can be fun, but it can also be a lot of work. It’s important to make a few notes mentally or on paper to find out if you are ready for multiple cats in your home. Here are a few reasons why multiple cats in the home might not work for you. First, can you afford more than one cat? Think vet visits, groomers, food, treats, toys, emergency vet visits and even boarding for not just one by two or even three cats. That can add up quickly. What about physically? Are you up for the challenge of staying behind multiple cats and cleaning multiple litter boxes, food and water bowls? Can you handle multiple cats in your home? What if your home isn’t clean and everything in place as much as you like? There’s a lot to think about. Talk with your vet Bend, OR before bringing more cats into your home.
