Playtime Can Help Your Pet Cat Relax


Cats are natural born predators thus, it’s easy to understand where they get they’re heightened sense of awareness for their environment. New people and changes in routine, for instance, will cause them stress. If not addressed appropriately, it can pave the way for other problems including loss of appetite and even development of certain health issues.

There will be many occasions when we simply cannot avoid doing things that will stress our cats out, so it’s best that we learn a few tricks to help them cope up with the stress.

· Regular playtime and interaction

Cats stick to a daily routine because it makes them feel safe and comfortable. Since they’re naturally active, kitty will love a a 10-15 minute playtime, at least twice a day. Spending time with your furball can also help create stronger bonds.

· Rotate toys

Cats love to play with toys, but they can get bored playing with the same ones over and over again. To keep them interested, rotate toys at least weekly and don’t forget to put them away after playtime.
