Norwich Terriers originally served as ratters on farms. They later bolted foxes from the den when hunting. However, today, these dogs spend their time as companions, although they still love to keep the house/yard rat- and vermin-free. These pups are highly affectionate, making them excellent apartment pets. They do well around everyone— even kids, fellow dogs, or strangers. However, these dogs are highly energetic. Staying physically active is necessary, and being in the house alone isn't good for them. Be sure to provide them with lots of exercises to help them stay happy, healthy, loving, and loyal best friends.

Norwich Terriers are among the smallest terriers. Despite their small size, they are filled with drive and personality. These pups make active and wonderful pets for active families/individuals. Their breed name says a lot about their appearance and distinctive trait— take note that Norwich pups have prick ears, standing up like the hat of a witch.
