Multiple Snakes Living Together

If you’re thinking of keeping more than one snake in your aquarium, talk with your vet first. In general, it is not recommended that you keep more than one snake in an enclosure. One snake may end up eating the other snake and in the end they may both die. Snakes are solitary creatures and do not really get lonely. Snakes in the wild do not live, eat, or hunt in groups. If you have more than one snake and they are practically on top of each other it’s because they are competing for space. More than one snake in an enclosure can create unnecessary stress on the snakes. Stress can lead to your snake refusing to eat or it may cause your snake to regurgitate his food which could be fatal. If you don’t know the sex of your snakes, you may end up with babies so check with your vet Scottsdale, AZ.
