How Do I Make My Christmas Tree Cat-Proof?

It's that time of year again ...Christmastime! But what if you have a cat? (Or cats!)

Should you cat-proof your Christmas tree? And how?

If you've got a cat, then you know they're going to want to get into everything. And that includes your Christmas tree.

Should you cat-proof your Christmas tree? Absolutely! Here are some tips for how to do so:

● Make sure there are no electrical wires or lights hanging low enough for your cat to reach.

● Make sure all of the branches are secure and sturdy enough to support your cat's weight.

● Avoid placing any ornaments on the floor, where they can be knocked off easily by curious paws.

● Make sure all of your decorations are stable and won't fall over easily if knocked by a curious kitty.

● If you have any Christmas tree stands or decorations that have sharp edges, be sure to wrap them in bubble wrap or something similar so your cat can't get hurt by them.

● If your cat is particularly curious and loves climbing trees, consider getting a fake tree instead of an actual one. They're much easier to cat-proof!
