Dogs Thrive In The Right Social Environment

The social environment you raise your dog in is important for their development because dogs are very social animals. While the bond you develop with him helps make your dog feel comfortable, you should also encourage interactions with other people and animals to let them practice their social skills.

Two is better than one is a rule that would apply to dogs, so you could consider having a puppy to accompany another when you’re too busy to be there with them. An older dog would teach and guide the younger one on how to behave, and they would be able to play with each other! If having two pets to train is too much, you can set up play dates with other dog owners and their pets so that they have constant interaction with each other and address your pet’s social needs.

Take a proactive approach to your pet’s health with regular health and wellness checks at your animal hospital Derby.
