Blurry Vision

dvmelite1

Losing vision sharpness, or blurry vision, makes objects seem hazy and off focus. Both eyes can be affected by blurry vision, but there are people who only get blurred vision in only one eye.

The main causes of blurry vision are presbyopia and refractive problems like astigmatism, nearsightedness, and farsightedness. However, blurry vision could also be an indicator of more critical issues like neurological disorders or possibly vision-threatening eye diseases.

Clouded vision is when objects get obscured and seem “milky.” This is quite similar to blurred vision. Clouded vision is typically an indicator of certain conditions like cataracts.

Cloudy and blurry vision can both be indicators of critical eye problems, particularly if they happen all of a sudden.

But continuing or sudden vision changes like vision dimness, halos, blind spots, tunnel vision, double vision, or blurriness could be indicators of serious eye diseases or other health issues.

Your local optometrist Washington, DC is a valuable resource when it comes to issues and concerns that you may have with your eyes.
