Have you seen a Balinese and Siamese cat together in a frame? Besides coat length, these two cats have almost no difference. They have a long, wedge-shaped head that appears to be tapering from the nose to the tips of their ears. Their face looks triangular. They also have huge ears with a broad base and pointy end. Their almond-shaped eyes are of average size. Their long and slender legs supporting their tubular body are sturdy and dependable, considering their playful nature. Their long, plumed tail has a perfect tapering point, and their feet are small, dainty, and round. Their delicate, silky, and medium-length coat softens how they look.
The Siamese and Balinese both have lilac, blue, chocolate and seal shades available. Their eyes are deep, bright blue.
There is an alternate variety of Balinese that a reputable cat association recognizes. This variety is characterized by its round body and head. It has a thicker coat that extends throughout its entire body.
Excessive hair loss or other skin and hair coat issues should be brought to the attention of your local veterinarian Washington DC.
